Note

Nature journaling is a practice that encourages a deeper connection to the life around you. It is a technique that involves only three questions.

  1. What do you notice?
  2. What questions do you have?
  3. What does it remind you of?

Simply by asking yourself these questions you invite yourself into a deeper awareness of the world around you and strengthen your relationship to nature. However, by taking it a step further and using a journal to explore these questions through the art of writing or sketching, you can ground your thoughts physically and offer the world a gift: your undivided attention.

Wells of Inspiration

“These cues have forced me to pay attention much more deeply to the world around me, and attention is what the fabric of love is made from. Love, the most useful kind of working definition I’ve found for it is Sustained Compassionate Attention”
